Just adore this sign.
Finished up reading "Dear John" and to be honest, I was not too happy about the ending. A few of my girlfriends went and saw the movie and apparently are not too pleased with the ending. In other words: the book and the movie must be really similar. I am about to embark into "The Last Song," by Nicholas Sparks (I love love stories). Speaking of real life love stories, my BFFL, Renee has one of her own. Her love story is how "Dear John" should have been, but it should be called "Dear Bracy."
They met years ago (in middle school; circa 1993) and started a brief relationship that ended because Renee's family moved to Sarasota in 1996. Fast forward 13 years. They reconnect and are truly, madly, deeply in love with each other. Bracy is in the army and as of right now, is in Africa. He just left last month and will not be back until May/June.
She should write a book about their amazing relationship. Not only are they the most gorgeous couple you'll ever see, but they are just perfect for each other. I'm so happy for her! She deserves it.
Nothing beats a "real" love story....

I loved the Dear John book ending, but that could be because I only like tragic love stories. The movie has a happier ending, so you should like it! I just finished The Last Song this weekend. Be prepared, I sobbed through the last hundred pages, and cried only at the end of Dear John. Enjoy!
That is definitely something straight out of a movie, tell her to start writing a journal!
Sweet! Who doesn't love a good love story?
