Just in case...

I have been on a bit of hiatus from my online life. I have noticed a rapid decline in my posts and blame it on that writer's block of mine. Whether it be writer's block or my chaotic life these days (moving the week before Christmas, transferring positions from Atlanta to Orlando, furniture shopping and OH YES... jet setting around the United States only to be delayed for hours on end), I have certainly been MIA.

To be perfectly honest with you all: I thought about closing my blog down, you know: SHOP IS CLOSED. I had been going back and forth on whether to keep it going, mainly because I had been neglectful and thought I'd be unable to get my footing again. I then declared to keep it up and make it the best I could possibly make it for 2010.

My little break provided me with the drive to come back to my fabulous online world.

Here's the 411 on my journey (in case you want to know):

My move to Orlando was successful! I moved into my fabulous little apartment on the 15th of December.  Pretty much furnished the entire place, despite a dining room table. I keep going back on our decision to live on the 4th floor (the walk to my actual apartment is a tedious adventure). I just went grocery shopping for the first time since December 15th (YES, I have been living off of airport food and Zaxby's). I just finally feel settled into my place and thank goodness for that.

My Christmas was amazing! I spent the holidays in Sarasota, Florida with my family. I love big family fun: dinners, children running around, cooking, decorating-love it all. I made out very well in the "gifts department" too: I snagged a hot pink tool kit, gift cards to all my favorite stores, little things for my place and other things (my memory has escaped me for the moment). Although Jason and I were not together for Christmas (he was with his family in Atlanta), we did spend NYE together in downtown Orlando. I would love to elaborate on my NYE, but I haven't the slightest about the evening to be quite honest. Too many glasses of champagne, vodka & soda and wine = HAPPY 2010! All I can say about that night is... I had an absolute blast! Oh, and Jason bought me two spa days at the Ritz for Christmas-I always whine about how I need a massage... so, I'm pretty sure he got me it to ward off any future complaints. Lol.

Work is fun again! I enjoyed nothing more than going to work and seeing all my dear friends again. When I moved to Atlanta, I never thought about how much I would miss Orlando :( Now that I am back, I am happier than ever. Do what you love and love what you do-rings extremely true! The past few days that I have worked, I have been having a fantastic time: telling jokes, dishing gossip, filling people in on my life & catching up on theirs, laughing a lot and smiling too much.
