Get Gorgeous

I am always one to try new things, especially when it comes to skin care! I am devoted to Kinerase and have been for over seven years, but more recently have been dabbling with Philosophy and Murad. Some of the Kinerase products I adore:

As for Philosophy, I cannot get enough of:

Murad has the most amazing supplements that provide your skin with all the nutrients it needs. Four pills a day(two in the morning & two in the evening), and guaranteed gorgeous results STAT:

I also have this new tea that I swear by:

"Get Gorgeous,"was introduced to me by one of my girlfriends when I was feeling beyond icky. I tried it once and was instantly hooked. It claims to provide you with clearer skin and guess what? It works! Lately, I have had the occasional break-out and have not been feeling "supermodel sexy" so I was desperate to try anything that claimed to help! I have concluded that I need to lay off the Pepsi and anything else that has loads of sugar in it. My New Year's Resolution: Stop drinking soda and lay off the sugar as much as possible.

Do you have any skin care products that you swear by?

Sunshine Lover

Since moving into my new place in Orlando, I have noticed a few new things about myself....

1.) I adore yellow interiors.

2.) I cannot get enough of the sunrise.

3.) I am really obsessed with chandeliers.

I am really slacking on the interior designing of my place. YES, I got my adorable bed. YES, I turned a bookcase into a dresser/t.v. stand (it looks so crafty). My living room is pretty much finished and it's so boring (insert sad face). My bedroom needs HELP! Pictures to come...

Glitterati

I love any occasion in which I get to adorn myself with glitzy anything and it just so happens that New Years Eve is the ideal day to bedazzle myself. Glitter, beaded or studded apparel has been a constant on my list of musts for the past few months. I was just introduced to a fabulous web site (I wish I came up with this amazing idea) and thought maybe some of you lovely ladies would be interested as well! Rent The Runway is the ideal place if you are looking for a designer duds to rent for a few days. You have to sign up and then await your acceptance to the exclusive site. It's worth the wait.

As for my New Years apparel....... an asymmetrical black sequin dress it is!

Obsessed much: wrapping presents

This time of the year is my absolute favorite! I may be the only person who actually enjoys going to the mall and trying to swim through the crowds of aggravated shoppers. I enjoy the shopping especially when I am holding a caramel brulee latte from Starbucks! Anyhow, this holiday season has made me realize a few things: 1.) I love shopping for my boyfriend 2.) I am a fantastic shopper 3.) Toys 'R Us is rather dangerous AND 4.) I am a miracle worker when it comes to wrapping presents.

I am not trying to toot my own horn, BUT I'm really good at wrapping presents. For the past five years, my mom loads all the presents into her car and brings them over to me to wrap. She doesn't understand why I enjoy wrapping presents, but is more than happy that I do. I love decorating them with ribbons, bows, raffia, pine cones, bells, etc. Call me crazy, but I just LOVE it!

love wrapping presents too?
any tips for my future wrapping adventures?

Lapse in judgment

Since announcing that I was going to "end" my life as a blogger, I have received a rather large amount of emails asking me not to. I received one letter in particular from one of my readers, Hannah, asking me to continue my blogging life. I feel compelled to not only continue blogging, but to step it up a notch for 2010. I am making a few early New Years resolutions and blogging every day will be one of them. So, I'm taking back my words....the blogging will continue.

Dream House

When I was a little girl I used to clip photos out of my mom's JCP catalog, HOME magazine and other publication of interiors. I always dreamed up these gorgeous homes with massive windows, amazing fireplaces, spectacular kitchens, spiral staircases and tree lined driveways. When I came across this house tour on Apartment Therapy I nearly fell off the bed. It is my dream house......

These pictures provide so much inspiration for me!

Moving on up & out

Today it's official: I am moving to Orlando in T minus 13 days {a sudden wave of excitement and nervousness swept over me}. I found the most gorgeous condo people! I'll share photos just as soon as I move on in on December 15th. Amongst my many busy activities today (airport badging, condo paperwork, driving two hours to Orlando) I squeezed in some furniture shopping. We got the couch...the mattresses...and that's about all {insert nervousness}. I am desperately seeking a unique dresser (possibly a cute little mirrored one), suggestions anyone? Oh, and did I mention I have to re-purchase everything for the condo: dishes, glasses, coffee table, t.v. stand, dining room table, shower curtains, bedding, nightstand {insert nervousness, AGAIN}.

On a side note:
Jason surprised me last night with a delicious dinner.
I am beyond excited about finally moving back to Orlando.
I am so very happy about my new kitchen {it's perfection}.
This little bout of cold weather is making me smile.

Have you seen these clothes?

You can only imagine my astonishment when I realized that I am missing a serious truckload of clothing!  I was looking through my closet, thinking to myself, "I know I have more clothes than what is in front of me." I then started looking through boxes and boxes and nothing was to be found. Of course, I immediately point the finger at my sister (she is infamous for "borrowing" my clothing without asking and without returning). Turns out she "borrowed" a pair of my Seven For All Mankind jeans (I found them in her dryer yesterday) and who knows where all my tops are located. I'm annoyed, beyond annoyed.

On a side note: it's December 1st finally! I have to get some Christmas shopping done in the next few days. Problem is....I keep Kristin shopping instead of Christmas shopping! The big move to Orlando is days away as well. This month is just full of excitement.
