Yes, you read the title correctly: Couch to 5K (it's an application on my Ipod Touch and it's amazing). It trains you to prepare yourself for a 5K over a period of 9 weeks. It alternates between walking and running, and basically allows you to build up the endurance to run 5K. I have always wanted a runner's body; Okay, I'm lying...I have always wanted a body like Jessica Biel's and well, she runs too. With my move coming up, I am not able to sign up for a gym membership, so I needed something to kick my butt into shape until January. This seems to be the idea of the month, so hopefully my results look like:
Of course, I am mixing in my usual Tracy Anderson and Physique 57 as well (these workouts will help to build muscle). I figured instead of sitting on my couch, watching all those horrible reality television shows and sipping my morning coffee wasn't cutting it anymore. Time to bust a move, for real.

There's a couch to 5k website that I followed last summer. I couldn't believe that I actually made it to 5k. I am the laziest person ever. Good luck!
This sounds so amazing, I'm trying to build up to a run but it's such hard work (for me) i don't have the best ankles. Can you put i-phone apps on the i-pod touch as well as the phone? I'm interested in buying one if you can!
Training is so tough, so kudos to you for doing it!
