Get Pretty

Do you want to know a little secret about me? I am such a girl when it comes to beauty products!Upon entering Sephora, it's almost like I hear angels playing harps(I refer to Sephora as my holy mecca). I am a girly girl, and that is why I have taken it upon myself to compile a list of my must-have beauty products. I shell out some serious cash every single time I go to Sephora, but it's worth it! I am a firm believer in washing my face every single night. I will not, and can not, go to bed with a face full of makeup! I have my own little beauty regime, and honestly-I swear by it! I take care of my skin: I use SPF, moisturizer, lightening serum, chemical peels, at-home microdermabrasion and cleanser. I want to age gracefully(without the help of Dr. Rey A.K.A Dr. 90210). Philosophy has the cutest products I have ever seen. This set is one of my "All Time Favorites". I bought this for my girlfriend for her birthday, and after smelling each of them, I went back and bought a set for myself! The thing I love the most about these little bottles is that they are a triple threat: shower gel, bubble bath and shampoo ALL IN ONE! I love sweet smelling things(cupcakes, icing, chocolate chip cookies, etc.) so this just works for me.

Boscia has fantastic products. Vegetable therapy is my favorite one though. I have been taking these little vitamins for about three years now. The only thing: do not let them sit on your tongue for more than 20 seconds(strange taste). If beauty really comes from within, then feed your skin with these. I usually take four a day, and the bag usually lasts me about a month.

I wanted to make sure I put this picture in this blog. Once again, this is Philosophy's products. As you can see they have so many options when it comes to my shower gel/bubble bath/shampoo choices. Some of my top picks: Red Velvet Cake, Carrot Cake, Coconut Frosting and Strawberry Sorbet. Yum!

I will admit something to you: I am a huge sun worshipper! It's bad people. I have been in the sun for my entire life, and I have just recently started to notice some ugly little spots on my nose. I ran to the store immediately to find something that will help me. I then stumbled upon this little secret weapon: DDF Fade Gel 4. I have been using it for almost a week now, and the results are uncanny. The ugly little brown spots/sun spots are slowly, but surely disappearing.

Kinerase is the best skincare line I have ever used. PERIOD. These "instant radiance" facial peels are great. The little package contains a lollipop-like wand that you simply slide across your face, and that's it. The results are amazing! Upon finishing the entire box you'll notice your complexion is stunning!

I'm going to try really hard not to brag about "hope in a jar" too much. Okay, I lie! This is my favorite product on this list. It works, and it works very well. It has a hint of rose in it, and it glides on so smoothly. I use it twice a day, and the jar will last me 2 to 3 months. I needed a new moisturizer, and didn't want to shell out $100 or more, so it led me to this. I couldn't be happier. Really, this is a miracle product. You must try.

Dr. Brandt is ridiculously awesome. If I met him, I'd hug him so tight and thank him until Debbie Gibson had a #1 hit again. Microdermabrasion in a jar is like turning back the hands of time. I use it regularly(about 3 times a week), and it works. It leaves my face looking supple and younger(I'm only 27, but whatever). Gently rub it on your face for about 2 minutes, and then thoroughly rinse it off. You'll notice results immediately. You'll look up from the sink and glance in the mirror, and say "Why hello gorgeous!"

Here is my daily cleanser. I highly recommend you use a daily cleanser(you see how they label it "daily cleanser?"). Hence the word "daily," that means you must use it at least once a day. Never go to bed with a face of makeup(as I said above). How could you?? You wake up looking like a cheap hooker who didn't get paid! Or something like that! Anyhow, Kinerase is a great line. This cleanser is very gentle, and I love!!
You can find all of these products @ Sephora:
Hope in a Jar $15.00 to $60.00
